Gage Roads ‘Wall of Yewww!’

Gage Roads brewery in Fremantle has revealed their latest installation, ‘The Wall of Yewww!’. The installation was created to drive people visiting the venue to vote for Single Fin at the GABS Hottest 100 — a festival that celebrates the best craft beer and breweries in Australia. At first glance the installation just looks like a giant wall at cans, however thanks to the spectral sensitivity of smartphone cameras the message ‘yewww!’ is revealed when scanning the QR codes or capturing a picture of the impressive venue entrance. This hidden message ‘yewww!’ is a celebration of what are beers are brewed — epic moments spent at the coast with mates — it’s also directly tied to the brands creative platform ‘Made for Yewww!’ that was laucnhed last year. The wall is made up of over 2,000 cans and was conceived, designed and built entirely by the legends who work at Gage Roads.
