The new Nissan logo is the first update in 20 years. The overall effect of the redesign is a transition from hard-edged and industrial to a refined, familiar and digital-friendly look. The update was a two year journey and became a true collaboration with the internal Nissan design team. Featured on AdAge.
The new logo was designed with the intention of evolving based on the context in which it lives, i.e, the logo can be made from Cherry Blossoms around the Hanami or in winter can be transformed into snowflakes. We revealed the new logo alongside the all electric Nissan Ariya with the short film ‘A New Dawn’.
