The Webby Awards: Typevoice

To celebrate The Webby’s People's Voice 20th anniversary, we created Typevoice, the world’s first font shop that allowed anyone to create their own font using their voice. Scream, shout or sing and Typevoice generates a customized font based on your unique sound wave. We created an algorithm that measured pitch, volume and time, allowing each letter to react in real time. People could share GIFs and even download their unique font.
