Domestic violence. Female genital mutilation. Marital rape. In this country it’s illegal to show them but in many countries around the world, they’re perfectly legal to do. To help UNWomen in their battle against gender-based violence, we leveraged a gray area in media regulations by pixelating images of these atrocities and pairing them with direct copy — shining a light on these hidden issues.
